This was probably an oversimplified use of mindmapping software, but at least you had a chance to experience it. Which one did you use? There are not resources listed and not linked. It is certainly a way for students to highlight the main ideas and some secondary concepts without getting caught in all the detail. You can probably tweak the embed code so it isn't so wide on your blog, too! :)
